Over one year, an armed struggle between rival generals in Sudan has morphed into a full blown civil war. Despite over 8 million displaced people, millions more in urgent need of humanitarian aid and no end to the war in sight, it seems Sudan is a forgotten conflict. We look at the state of war, what the obstacles to peace are, and why the international community's response has been so meagre.
